“ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE”

Thursday 24 March 2022

Kia Ora, Kia Orana, Malo e Lelei, Talofa Lava, Fakalofa Lahi Atu, Greetings

We know that for many of you it has been a challenging time with many of you getting or being affected by covid. We hope that you are all on the road to recovery and thank you for getting your tamariki back to BMPS when the isolation period is over.

Parents and Caregivers are welcome to drop off and Pick up their tamariki
From Monday 28 March we will allow parents and caregivers to enter BMPS to walk their child/children to their class and to pick them up when school finishes. Here are the guidelines:
● The gates will open at 8:20am before school and 2:35pm at the end of the school day.
● All parents and caregivers entering BMPS MUST wear a mask.
● Please leave your child/children at the courtyard outside of your child’s class.
● Parents and caregivers MUST follow social distancing rules (we are still at Red setting)
● Parents and caregivers may not enter classes.
Please remember that all of our guidelines are in place for the health and
safety of our tamariki and staff.

Safety at Edward Avenue
Please ensure that if you are parking on Edward Avenue, that you do not park on the yellow lines or on our neighbour’s driveways. Please also ensure that your children get out of your car on the path side and do not open their door and walk onto the road. We have had a number of near misses recently.

Stationery
Thank you if you have bought your child’s stationery. If you have not, please purchase this as soon as possible, as your child needs stationery for their learning.

Parent/Teacher Catch-Up
On Tuesday 12/Wednesday 13 April, there will be an opportunity for you to meet online with your child/children’s class teacher to discuss their learning and goals. Watch this space for a link to make an appointment.
