“ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE”

22 July 2022

Kia Ora, Kia Orana, Malo e lelei, Talofa lava, Fakalofa lahi atu, Bula Vinaka, Greetings

We hope that you have had a great break with your tamariki and whānau. We are looking forward to welcoming our tamariki back to BMPS on Monday 25 July for a fantastic term three. We especially welcome all of our new tamariki and their whānau-welcome to BMPS!

As you know, NZ is still at Orange Setting.  Here is a reminder of the health and hygiene measures in place at BMPS:

Face masks are not mandatory. However, wearing a mask is a key health measure that slows the spread of COVID-19 in indoor settings.  Therefore, we ask that all Year 4-6 tamariki and all staff continue to wear a mask while indoors-class, assemblies, etc. Therefore, we ask that your child (if they are Year 4+) continue to bring a mask to school every day (unless they have an exemption).  We will also expect all visitors and parents to wear a mask whenever they are on school grounds.

BMPS will continue to keep many of our other health measures in place.  These include:

  • anyone who is unwell should stay home
  • tamariki who are unwell while at school will be sent home
  • ensuring that our indoor spaces are well-ventilated
  • maintaining good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette
  • high-touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected each day
  • classes/areas being used will be cleaned thoroughly each day
  • tamariki bringing a water bottle to school every day-water fountains may only be used to fill bottles

Please note that school will finish for all tamariki at 2:45pm. You are very welcome to come into school to pick up your tamariki. Please wear a mask.

If your child has covid, please let us know, so that we can support you, monitor cases and any potential spread at school.

If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please let the office know:
