“ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE”

December 2022

Kia Ora, Kia Orana, Malo e lelei, Fakalofa lahi atu, Talofa lava, Greetings

Dear Parents and Caregivers

We would like to thank you for your support this year. It has been a fantastic year at BMPS-particularly the last three terms which have been a little more ‘normal.’ There has been much to celebrate!

There will be an assembly on Tuesday 13 December at 10am to celebrate Rochelle Bond and Deborah Chan on becoming fully registered kaiako. Congratulations to them both!

On Wednesday 14 December at 9:30am there will be an assembly to farewell Aroha Ioelu, one of our teacher aides and Deborah Chan, our Kiwi 8 kaiako.   Aroha and her whānau and Deborah and her whānau are moving to Australia. We wish them well on their next adventure.

BMPS finishes for the year on Thursday 15 December at 1:30pm.

To our Year 6 tamariki and whānau who are leaving BMPS, we wish you well. Remember to dream big, never give up and know that with hard work, belief and determination ‘Anything is Possible.’

May you all have a wonderful Christmas and summer break. We look forward to having an amazing 2023 with the tamariki who are returning to BMPS.

Once again, we thank you for your continued support. BMPS is blessed to have such a strong and supportive parent community.

Kind regards,

BMPS BOT and staff.

Summer Reading Programme

This is a message for parents and caregivers of year 3, 4 and 5 children at BMPS.

We are excited to let you know that the Summer Reading Programme is continuing this year!

What is the Summer Reading Programme?

This is a programme designed to keep our tamariki reading during the school holidays and to help set them up for success when they return to school next year.

How does it work?

Your child will receive two bags of books. One that they will take home before the end of the term and another that will be delivered to your house during the school holidays. These books are at your child’s level and they are theirs to keep.

How can you help?

Your involvement and support make all the difference! We ask that you set aside 10 minutes a day to read with your child. This should be a fun and enjoyable experience filled with plenty of praise and encouragement.

We would like to thank Matthew Able and the MSA Trust who fund this incredible programme.
