Masks at BMPS

After a risk assessment it has been decided that for the rest of term 3 tamarki, staff, parents and visitors it will not need to wear a mask while at BMPS.  This will be evaluated again at the end of the term. Those who would like to continue wearing a mask are most welcome to do so.

Please note, if there is a rise in covid cases in our school community, then we will reintroduce mask wearing at BMPS.

BMPS will continue to keep many of our other health measures in place.  These include:

  • anyone who is unwell should stay home
  • tamariki who are unwell while at school will be sent home
  • ensuring that our indoor spaces are well-ventilated
  • maintaining good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette
  • high-touch surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected each day
  • tamariki bringing a water bottle to school every day-water fountains may only be used to fill bottles
  • those who would like to wear a mask are welcome to do so

If your child has covid or is isolating, please let us know, so that we can support you.

If your child is going to be absent for any reason, please let the office know:

If you have any questions or queries or if you need support, please contact us.
